The Nation’s Top 10 Records of 2016

One of my biggest passions and a major part of JamiePNation is music. I am a true fan of all music. You could say I am a child of Rock music. Being born in the 1950s, parallels rock music's birth, so my entire existence is a sort of living history of rock music.

My music experiences are also made from being born into music (Father is a bass player) and then raised in the music Industry. I started buying music on the Sunset strip in the 60s. My first concerts were The Rolling Stones and Ike and Tina Turner (BB King was also on the bill) opening the Los Angeles Forum and playing 2 sets a night! I was also at the Forum to see The Cream's farewell performance. Many of you may not recognize the band, Cream but let's just say... legendary, Google that shit.

Of course, like any music junkie, I could go on and on, but I will leave the rest for a future blog. In any case, my exposure, upbringing and life spent around music, results in my personal tastes and feelings falling very much in-line with both the popular opinion and cutting edge trends throughout the last 45 years.

So, with that in mind, JamiePNation has put together our top 10 records for 2016.  Check them out, and as always I want to know what your favorites would be. Interaction is something I enjoy, and I hope you will indulge me.

And, for the record, let me tell you what makes a top 10 record for me. The entire content, fresh or copy, has stayed on my playlist since released; I have never pressed the next arrow, and the music elicits a reaction from me, either physically or emotionally or both.
